Goran Medved (1973) grew up in Zagreb, where he attended the Educational Center for Languages, and studied six foreign languages in his entire education. He completed the bulk of his higher educational studies in the USA, on athletic and academic scholarships, earning high academic honors (summa cum laude). Goran has a B.S. in International Studies (business, politics and foreign languages). He started his theological studies at the Bible Institute in Zagreb, and continued at Lipscomb University in Nashville, where he earned a Masters in Theological Studies with an emphasis in New Testament. Currently is enrolled in PhD program at Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad (Romania). He has been a long-term associate of the Zagreb Bible Institute as a lecturer of New Testament Greek and as a translator. He is the project manager and editor of the first Croatian translation of the Bible in contemporary language. He also served as a pastor, teacher, preacher, and church planter.
